National Environmental Awareness Summit 2019

UNIVART is an autonomous research organisation emphasizing on ecological consciousness with the help of social programmes having an artistic dimension. It is based on a simple idea:

  • To create awareness on the all encompassing role that nature has in our lives.
  • To ensure the welfare of nature and man.

Our mission is to bring a decisive change in the ecological landscape as well as invoke the conscience of children, the future of mankind through perennial medium of art in potential schools. To support the idea of consciousness, we gather pupils to conduct seminars under one roof and spread awareness through student participation programmes like debates, painting, craft making, creative writing, extempore, T-shirt painting, model making and collage making. UNIVART aspires to imbibe in children the importance of nature and its resources. The activities conducted encourage healthy competitive spirit through co-operation. The individuality of participants is unfolded through their creativity and expression verbally of artistically.

The world is progressing forwards a Global Village. UNIVART, official partner of UNESCO, aims at making India involve the whole world in a green revolution. NEAS projects, which have received global support are based on this.

NEAS aims at recognizing schools which strive to establish an ecological environment that consists of having green surroundings , grassy field , eco herbal garden , well ventilated spacious rooms with ample lighting .It should be the school’s intention through its activities to imbibe in the students the longing to have an eco friendly environment for making the world better a place to live in.

A child feels protected in its mother’s arms. In plantation programmes, UNIVART plants a sapling, names it and takes the responsibility of nurturing it just like a mother does to her child. Every detail of the growth of the plants is recorded for taking better care.

It is not often that the budding talents get their due recognition. Our aim is to motivate such children and bring to limelight their innovative creation on creating awareness for the protection of environment. The above mentioned initiatives for the noble cause of protecting environment need the active participation and involvement of the schools. The following are the detailed programmes undertaken for the successful completion of these endeavours.
